Dr. Atul Prakash is a distinguished cardiac electrophysiologist and physician scientist currently at Rutgers Medical School, where he is an associate professor in the department of medicine and director of cardiac arrhythmia specialists. He is reviewer of many cardiology and electrophysiology journals since 1997. Dr. Prakash is a prolific researcher with over 160 publications with interests in the mechanism of atrial fibrillation and device therapy and syncope mechanisms. He also holds special clinical interests in regard to complex ablations and device implantations. He is an invited faculty at major national and international cardiology and electrophysiology meetings since 1995.
